In response to our clients’ demand for increased speed, reduced latency and less expensive rates over bandwidth intensive networks, Sybaweb presents the Full Steam solution.
Full Steam is Sybaweb’s cost-effective alternative to line bonding and Diginet. It is a load balancing solution providing high speed data transfer over a maximum of eight load-balanced ADSL lines.

Full Steam significantly enhances the performance of bandwidth intensive networks with multiple connections.
Companies for which the following is true will reap the most benefits:
- Large numbers of users using online applications
- Multiple VPN connections and other remote access services in use
- Bandwidth intensive services, such as streaming media
How does it work?
Full Steam works by alleviating network congestion and latency, thus improving speed, efficiency and productivity across your network.
Full Steam utilises Sybaweb’s proprietary methodology of load balancing ADSL lines. Dependent on network requirements, up to 8 ADSL lines of 4096 kbps can be configured to yield a maximum of 32 mbps download speed.
Point-to-point data transfer on a Sybaweb VPN with Full Steam can yield up to 4 mbps upload and download speeds.
Fail-over option to eradicate risk of downtime
For businesses which cannot afford to run even the smallest risk of being offline, Sybaweb offers the additional option of enhancing Full Steam to include fail-over functionality. This ensures fail-over connectivity, such as 3G, automatically takes over if the ADSL line(s) fail. The fail-over connectivity will also constantly poll for the primary connectivity option and automatically switch off once the primary connection is restored.

Full Steam can be enhanced by the embedding of another Sybaweb innovation: SybawebSplitter.
By differentiating between local and international bandwidth use, SybawebSplitter takes full advantage of the low cost of local bandwidth. This saving enables Sybaweb to offer a multifunctional solution at a highly competitive rate.
